European Administrative Law 2025/2026

The course is divided into four parts. After a general introduction on the evolution of EU administrative law (4 hours), the first and general part (18 hours) focuses on the forms of EU administrative action (direct administration, indirect administration, shared administration) and the different types of administrative procedures.
The second part (10 hours) focuses on the principles of EU administrative law (proportionality; due process, participation and right to be heard; access and transparency). The third part (8 hours) focuses on the review of EU administrative decisions and on non-judicial remedies (Ombudsman and Boards of appeal).
